If you are not sure, you are good enough, get lessons, until you are sure. Better safe than sorry. Call a ski school, and get a private lesson offpiste, and the teacher will be able to advise you, if it is a good idea or not.
-A 4th attempt is likely with the current weather forecast, but i call them thursday morning, and we'll see.

Sorry about the weather, but I would be in for the 4th attempt next weekend. Think I may exceed my ski budget this year by a small margin.
