| You obviously haven't looked up the rules to see what kind of permit the poles are given.
All 'road marking' stakes have a 'Saisonnier' Permit which only allows them to stay a maximum of for nine months (heaven forbid that we should need them so long), after which they are sent home. They can renew their permit in autumn for the next season.
Could one of the Mods please move these posts to the 'Permits' Forum.  Some old stick-in-the-mud might need the information sometime. | |

I have to confess I have not researched further into the plight of these poor poles or their permit validity, as I may in fact be suffering from PTSD after I got too distressed watching them mercilessly grabbed and tossed into a truck... I can still hear the screams... which is pretty good for a deaf guy
Watching the 2 lady joggers in spandex is however easing my pain.
