The loneliest year for me was the first year I had a child and became a stay at home Mom. No parents or family near me but I did make friends.

Do you know what helped? Having a second child. Kept me busier and the kids were quite happy with each other.

Be proud of your achievements. You've done it on your own. And stay in touch with your family. They can still support you emotionally thousands of miles away.
