No, she didn't. She said that the label stated that it was "FRESH SEAFOOD".

Neither she nor the label made any claims regarding the history of the constituents.
The "Don't Refreeze" warning is a dead giveaway.

EDIT: I just reread the OP and realised it was refrozen. In the bin with it!!
