Hi everyone! I apologize if this information is in this post, its full of some great information, but I havent found what Im looking for.

I am currently an L permit holder (Au Pair, non-EU from Canada), until Mid-August of this year, I lvoe it here and unexpededly met someone early on that makes me want to stay here. My boyfriend and I have begun to search for work for me for after my contract is finished as an Au Pair (unfortunatley, for non-EU my Au Pair visa cannot be renewed, even though my host family would gladly keep me on).

My question is, is it possible for me to get an extension on my L visa, another L visa if I find temporary work, or a B visa without me having to leave the country and re-enter. Is anyone certain about this, or should I visit my locak Geminde?
