Re: [Swiss Job market] English-Speaking Companies

Hello everyone,

I don't like to appear desperate to 'whore' myself out on this thread but it seems some useful suggestions have been made so I was hoping that someone might have some useful advice for me.

The reason I'm looking for a new job now is that my girlfriend is studying in Winterthur, starting in September and we're thinking about getting a place together, so I can't commute from current job in Basel everyday as even if I lived close to a station in Zürich then that's still 3 hours in total a day.

I've a BSc in Physics Studies (a Math-reduced general physics degree) and worked over 3 years now working for an American chemical company working as a technician in largely the realm of materials for rapid-prototyping.
I've worked various different summer jobs in technician positions so I can work competantly in most labs.

I've kept an eye on jobsearch.ch, ETH and Zürich Uni job sites without too much luck and wondered if anybody else could suggest anywhere else or paticular companies worth applying too?

Thanks
