Hi there,

I'm Michael and I have been lurking these forums for a little while now, so I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself.

My wife and I are currently living in Sydney, Australia but would much prefer to be in Switzerland. Since traveling there last year we quickly fell in love with the country, culture and people and hope that we may be able to return to live sometime in the future.

Unfortunately though not being an EU Citizen presents its share of difficulties. So if any of you have any tips or advice on how to get around that in obtaining employment or permits we would appreciate it.

As for the both of us, our interests are the normal sorts of things. Travel, relaxing, having drinks, going out to dinner etc. I also have quite an interest in cars so hopefully if we are lucky enough to live in Switzerland I may be able to actively contribute to the thread I noticed on "Who has a radar detector?"

That’s about it from me for now. I better rush off to my German tutoring before I’m late!
