Corsebou -- I'm newly arrived in Lausanne, and we initially were going to go with citycable, but were just told about the extra 26chf for unwanted tv today. A landline for telephone would also be unwanted.

It seems like you've done all the research for what's available in Lausanne; please tell us what you ended up going with.

(Or should I just continue using the strange, on-again, off-again open wifi network with decent signal in our apartment, from which I write? Or maybe I should learn how to crack network keys ... )
I haven't chose anything yet!!!

They now want installation charges (150-200chf) as I can't get the old tenant phone number.
I got his name, and the name of previous previous tenants, which had Internet AND landline... can't find them on "annuaire" (white pages), and swisscom say they dont find them (obviously...). Agency were in conflict with previous previous tenants, and wont give me their mobile number...

Sunrise (59chf for 5MB, LINE included) seems the cheaper.
I would skip the comments from SwissPeople "sunrise" sucks, because they are addicted to Swisscom and they are offering biaised comments.

Maybe Sunrise helpdesk sucks (I dont know) but connection should be fine and reliable.

Also, Sunrise online gives 100chf less...

Comparys, says VTX is cheaper (34chf) BUT add 26chf for line, add 4chf for vtxbox rental, and add 75chf for "installation" (6.25chf approx per month).
so it's 66.25chf for 5MB....
