tax payments seem to be charged at less than 5% (I don't pay much interest and I just paid 2005 off).

I used to pay rent exactly on the first business day of the month.

Credit cards get paid on the 23rd of the month to avoid interest.

Everything else gets paid on the last day of the month - and I do my bills run around the 20th. Anything that comes after that is paid in the next cycle and I don't get any warnings (I assume I'm pretty standard in how I do it).
