Re: Very cheap Swiss health insurance for students

I have a CIGNA expat plan from the US, and I am having problems getting Kanton Zurich to approve it. I know that there are other Americans with this policy living in many countries, including CH, but for some reason CIGNA and the Gesundheitsdienste are not communicating well.

I may just purchase the cheapest plan available to make the problem go away and continue with my CIGNA plan (it pays 100% with no deductible/franchise for med/prescriptions and dental, so very happy with it).

I remember back when you could easily have foreign health cover in Zurich and then they changed it; I kept my PPP for about 2-3 years then by simply writing back to the authorities and enclosing the policy from PPP.

Sadly things have changed now but I also now live in SZ.....hmm, I wonder........
