| I've been here since June 1st and am trying to sort out my health insurance, but, as someone just noted, they have asked for my residence permit, which I don't yet have. However, the letter I got from the authorities intimated that I didn't need to have my residence permit before I got health insurance. Does this mean that if I tell the insurer that I am still waiting for my residence permit, they will insure me anyway? Should I be worried that I haven't yet received my residence permit (I am from UK)?
thanks,

No, don't worry, things are a bit slow at the moment with permits - and you're insurer should be able to issue your policy without the permit and add the details later.
