I scanned through the thread but I am still not clear:

I am a non EU national and my entry visa states SUISSE PLUS 1 SCHENGEN TRANSIT.

So my question is, once I get my residence permit in a few days, can I use that to enter other Schengen states or do I still a new Schengen visa?
