Re: [Q&A] Quellensteuer (tax at source for expats)

I've finally lost patience with my employer.

I've been here since Feb 1st 2010 and every pay amount has been different. Pay has been up to 3 weeks late and the best has been 1 week late. It's a small company with 1 boss and 1 secretary who isn't a tax expert and I think she is making it up as she goes along. She just shrugs if I query anything..

There seem to be different items on each payslip for various 100+chf per month but my main gripe is with the Quellensteuer which they had 1 month at 12.5% and then 13% and now 13.9% and they are asking for over 2000chf Differenzzahlugen this month

I have tried comparis and put my details in but can't seem to tally any figures anywhere.

I am separated from my wife who is in UK with 1 daughter aged 9. I live in Alpnach Dorf and my salary is 126000chf.

I have
AHV at 5.05%
ALV at 1%
NBUV at 1.69% (this is a new one this month)
KTG at 1.113%
BVG at 640.40chf
Quellensteuer @ 13.9% (new figure this month)

If anyone could give me an idea of what I should end up with each month it would be great as my payslips have differed by over 900chf

Also is the 2000 per month living costs still in place or did i read that in a very old thread.

Any help at all appreciated..

Mike
