Now, that's the big question isn't it !

I think that the benefit of this thread is that it highlights potential problems and shows that there are benefits (cost) and disadvantages (cover) and with this knowledge they can make their own decision.

When you buy insurance you are paying someone else to carry some, or all, of the risk for you but, at the end of the day, it's up to each person to make their own decision and decide what degree of cost/cover is best suited to them. The important thing is that the decision should be made from a position of fully understanding what's involved and I think this thread has highlighted that.
