Re: OK now tell me what you LOVE about Switzerland

I love the dogs -- furry, contented, friendly and mostly well-behaved.

I love the Hundeschlitten (dogsled rides) in winter with beautiful Siberian huskies on powdery snow.

My fellow-foreigners' Swiss husbands are real nice guys, helpful, generous and thoughtful.

I love the Cham lake park where you can just sit for an hour or two observing and the wild life (mute swans, mallards, interesting hybrid ducks both big and small, Carolina wood ducks, Greylag geese; the expertly diving, bonneted Great Crested Grebes (Haubentauher, or something like that in German), and even the cunning and quick Eurasian Coots.

I love the libraries in Zug (free of charge) and Cham (only CHF5 joining fee).

The double rainbows in the past week in Cham have been truly awe-inspiring.

I know I've become quite 'Swiss' -- or at least feel 'at home' -- when I stop to chat with the supermarket cashier and hold up the line for a few seconds more, and when strangers on the street ask me for directions despite seeing my very obvious 'foreign' features.
