We just moved into a place in Arni, Aargau last weekend. Don't let that Aargau thing throw you off though, it's literally 5km from the Aargau/Zürich border. I work in Altstetten, which is west of downtown Zurich, and it's 40 minutes door-to-door using public transport. Our little community in Arni has many kids. My daughter is 18 months old and she loves it. Everyone leaves their toys outside for everyone else to use. There's always an adult outside watching. Everyone there has been really warm and welcoming, which came as a bit of a surprise given the posts I've read here.

I'm not familiar with Kloten, though.
