| I see a second-hand Moto Milestone up for sale at 250 CHF .. with android 2.1 update bought in November 2009 .. were there any hardware changes after that date on Milestone? | |

I doubt you'd be disappointed in paying that for a milestone, it's a decent enough phone, speed still isn't an issue for me but then I came from Windoze mobile (and still waiting for anything else in the market to match the WM fucntionality I had 4 years ago).
I'm not aware of any hardware changes but motorola screwed up alarms on the 2.1 update; often the phone won't come back from standby to sound an alarm, but as soon as you switch it on the alarm sounds. Motorla were in no hurry to even acknowledge the fault never mind actually fix it. it was left to the community to find out that you can flash part of a Verizon rom update to fix it, there are threads in t'internet about it.
I'm unlikely to buy another Motorola as I think their commitment to EU customers has been sadly lacking. I'm not sure I'd buy another Android phone actually, if there was a high end windows mobile device with a keyboard I'd be there.
btw Froyo (android 2.2) has been reported as coming to the milestone in September, that brings app2sd to store apps on the sd card instead of main memory.
