| Is this really that big a problem? (I've seen this idea thrown out there as a reason/explanation for high prices a few times on EF.) I see many items in the grocery stores that are labeled for the EU so they have many more than 3 languages on them. Once a label is designed, does it really cost that much more to print it in 3 languages than 1? Why would companies not redesign their 12+ language labels to have only 3 if more languages added significantly more cost per unit? I'd love to hear from some people who work in the accounting and marketing departments at multi-national companies to see what they think. | |
