I gave the address of my temporary digs (Swiss star in Kloten), and that was that.

I'm sure I'll be contradicted, but it should be as simple as that.

Ditto SWMBO, she got an account with just here permit with no work contract (albeit with a few minor strings attached).

Sounds promising. I seem to remember a few banks on the high st in Gstaad. if it's possibly that easy then maybe I'll wait until I get out there.
