Hello,

So I was perusing this thread for information for traveling to other countries.

I am a US Citizen, and have an L-Permit here in Switzerland. I have a valid US Passport. I wish to go to Italy for a weekend next month, and plan to do more trips to other countries as well.

The whole Schengen Visa thing confuses me But it would seem like I do not need to get one, and my US Passport should be enough, but I really am not sure.

Does anyone know the answer for sure? I will also see if I can find the info online somewhere, or call someone But Just wanted to ask here also.
