My husband and I are relocating to Zurich in January and are looking for a temporary furnished apartment to sublet for 3-4 months when we arrrive until we can find our own apartment. Ideally it would be in postcodes 8000 - 8008 and be at least 1 bedroom. We have looked at many of furnished / serviced apartments listed on this site but many are too expensive and/or too small for 3-4 months. Our budget is up to 2300 per month and we would be willing to stay longer than 3-4 months if the price was under 1800.

Finding a 1 bedroom (2 room) furnished residence in those postals codes for under CHF 2300 is going to be difficult, finding one for under CHF 1800, about damn near a miracle. I'm not saying it's not possible, just very difficult. Good luck.
