My boyfriend and I are leaving Switzerland, and while we’re happy about this, we’re sad to be leaving our lovely 2-room flat in Niederhasli.
Location: Niederhasli is a quiet, safe village 25 minutes away from Zurich (HB) by train. The train station is located 5 minutes on foot from our flat. A migros, post office, and several other little shops are situated an easy 5-minute walk away.
The apartment block is (I think) from the 80s, but bathroom, kitchen, windows, balcony and sections of the floor have been recently renovated. It was also freshly painting around one year ago.
The Flat consists of
-1 spacious bedroom
-1 spacious living room (we fit a huge sofa, a desk and two book cases in it)
- Modern Kitchen with dishwasher. While there isn’t enough space for a proper dining table, you can fit a small table with two dining chairs
- Modern white bathroom with bath doubling up as a shower
- Large Balcony overlooking a pretty lawn space. There is enough space here to put an outdoor dining table
- A small storage room in the flat itself, a two-door inbuilt wardrobe in the corridor, and a storage room in the basement.
- The flat is situated on the 2nd floor and the block has no lift
- Laundry facilities are shared, but finding time to do the laundry is never a problem. Machine and tumbler are coin-operated. The neighbours are quite easy-going and I’ve never had issues with them.
-Underfloor heating makes it really warm and cozy in winter
The flat is going to be available from the beginning of February 2012 (so we’re looking for someone to take over the contract, as the hand-over is outside of standard times). If you are interested, we can also leave things like lights, wardrobe (huge), sofa and other things for an agreed (low) price. This would make life easier for us, and maybe for you too.
Rent price: 1255 CHF per month. The price includes a base heating fee (you could get money back or have to pay more at the end), maintenance and warm water. An optional outdoor parking space is available for 60 CHF per month.
