I am looking for a large room/studio for about 20-25 people to run massage course in Zurich. It can be spacious yoga/fitness or dance studio.

This is Traditional Thai Yoga massage run by experienced teachers. They would like to give it a try in Zurich.

If you are teaching or know Yoga, Pilates teachers who might be interested please let them know about this idea. I wonder how many people would be interested in participating.

Check out whether it can be used for Commercial Ventures before you go too far with the arrangements though. Sometimes there are things like having a WC, parking places to sort out, partly with the authorities and partly with the neighbours. Someone near here thought he could start a physio/massage practice in a workroom he rented. The owner of the room told him he could use the WC which is communal property and visitors' parking places. His business came to an end very quickly when the other residents complained. Don't want to put a damper on your idea but these things are worth looking into.

It's pain in the neck. So far I feel like I should have stayed in Dublin. I am looking for my own place in Zurich and it looks like there are not too many rooms and if I get an answer from agency they of course write me in German only and I don't speak it! It it also easier to find huge and very expensive office space rather than small, quiet therapy room, not sure why but I didn't know it will be that hard! and small simple room is all I really need.

Well, in the place I referred to above, where we once lived, I must confess I was one of the loudest complainers. Visitors parking places were very limited and the idea that one person, who didn't even rent a flat, could have his clients using them all day was simply not fair. And the noise and the extra dirt in the stairway in winter I've experienced before too when I lived in the same house as a dental practice. I know your situation is different but there are really two sides to this.

I hope you find something suitable but realise that it is not easy to keep everyone happy.

It is never easy to keep everyone happy... especially when it comes to your Swiss neighbours but if this is commercial space, a large studio where running dance/yoga classes is common then this shouldn't be a problem.

There are rooms to rent in Zurich but everything I find is in German and if you email them they say 'sorry miss but my English very bad!' so most of times that's the end of my tryings. You have to either switch to German (which I can't yet do) or give up as they won't talk to you. So far I feel lucky if I find someone in customer service or when I try to take care of my stuff via email who actually does speak English well. I didn't know it will be that hard. My husband tricked me when he said everyone speaks perfect English here. Not true.

I will start my German course after Christmas. The problem is that I am not excited about it at all...

You might be able to find a room to rent for a reasonable fee at one of the local gemiende kinder play groups. You can send my wife, Gerisherk, a pm (I've let her know to expect a message).she will know what the heck I am talking about, is a Pilates/Yoga instructor so knows some of the studios in Zuri and is also a native speaker.
