Re: looking for 1,5-2,5 rooms apartment

hi again,

I see there were quite a lot of viewers for my previous message so i guess there are many people that are renting places and visit this forum. So i will invest 5 more minutes to re-shape my message.

i have done some "research" and i have seen some apartments, had 2 interviews (1 in German...where i guess i couldn't make such a great impression due to my bad grammar) and decided to be more flexible. (is the first time i need to search for something in Zurich because right now i live in a really nice place which was rented for me and my colleagues by a Swiss friend, so let's say i am not so used with "the ways" in here).

my choices:

first choice: 1,5 rooms apartment (not necessarly furnished) - max 1500 chf.
second choice: 2,5-3 rooms apartment (not necessarly furnished, but i would be great if it has some furniture - i intend to share it with a friend - one of my present flat mates) - max 2000 chf.

i can pay more if i like the place...but i have to like it and you have to get to know me to understand i am serious person.

cheers,
Archie

Re: looking for 1,5-2,5 rooms apartment

hello guys,

I just wanted to say that i found a place...amazing but true and it is a really cute apartment.

I started to look for something this Monday. I wrote about 10-15 emails. (i am not fond of calling, especially with my lousy German)
I got 4 answers.
I saw 2 places: at one the landlady wrote me one day later and told me she gave the place to someone else. for the second place i saw, i had a 2 hours "interview"...but i got the place

unbelievable...from what i read here i thought it will take me ages to find something nice and at a decent price...and i found it in less then 5 days i am really happy about it

cheers!

Actually palinca is Hungarian and the really original one is great, we have tzuik [phonetic writing] which smells more and has less alcohol percentage. but you are right about the house warming...i would really like to meet the EF guys after who's info i have profited so much
