Having just started my search for an apartment, I figured it makes more financial sense to share with someone. So I'm looking for a fellow female who either has an apartment to share or is also looking.

My budget is approx 1500 CHF. I'm not fussed where I live as long as it's in central Zurich, clean and safe.

I'm looking for an apartment currently too ( a studio) as I discovered that there is no point in applying for something you cannot afford on you own, the estate agent requires some-one to co-sign, which does make sense.... perhaps we can look into getting something together?

It appears a few of us are after the same thing...

I'm (22, recent Oxford graduate, employed by the Lycée français in Gockhausen) also flat-hunting in Zürich. If anyone is up for founding a flatshare (WG) -type affair, I'd be happy to be party to it. If we agree, maybe we should keep eyes and ears out for a larger apartment which we could rent, either with one Hauptmieterin and the rest as subletters, or all equal tenants on a contract?

I hope this doesn't sound pushy - it really is only meant to be a suggestion. But even if two people end up finding somewhere together, it might be worth discussing possibilities anyway.

Hey ladies, I am 26 also from the UK looking for a move to the bright lights of ZH. I have been in Switzerland since 2005.

Budget not so much an issue so could also be interested in getting a nicer, much larger apartment by combining with someone else. I already have some furniture to contribute.

I would be looking fairly central (work will be near Oerlikon) I am very sociable, enjoy going out and having friends at home so if any of you are similar maybe this could work?
