hi, does anyone know of a cheap central b+b /hotel /apartment hotel type place in central lugano? i literally just need a room with a bathroom and shower to stay in for a week before christmas so i can take care of apartment hunting so something simple fine. cheers, charlotte

I would recommend HOTEL DOMUS. I went there with my bf and we were so satisfied by a good service and breakfast. Prices are reasonable.

it's close to station and apparently central and reasonable price.

now to cross fingers and toes in those few days i find somewhere before christmas ready for the move in feb :-)
going to be brave and practise my italian on the landlords for places i found online this week and call and arrange appointments for when i'm there - hope they haven't all left on christmas holidays ;-)
