I am interested in finding an English-speaking professional to share a fantastic 4-room apartment in Küsnacht. Here are the details...

* Küsnacht is located along the "gold coast" side of the lake just outside ZRH city, ~10-mins by car or ~15-mins by bus/train to the center of town at Bellevue/Stadelhofen
* total living area = 101m2
* 4th (top) floor with lift, private hallway entrance
* 2-bedrooms (master = 16m2 / second = 13m2), each with private balcony
* 1-bathroom (tub, separate shower, toilet, 2-sinks = 6m2), plus another smaller separate toilet + sink
* small but decent kitchen (9m2), including dishwasher, microwave, glass ceramic stove, etc.
* spacious walk-through dining + living rooms (25 + 12 m2), plus fireplace
* HUGE roof terrace overlooking the lake (130m2), partly covered (30m2), with outdoor fireplace and shower!!!
* 2-underground parking spaces (1-available to rent)
* shared washer/dryer in basement
* small storage area in basement (8m2)
* floor plan and pictures available

I am an American woman living and working in Zurich since 2001 in IT project management. Currently I have no partner or flatmates (except my friendly little Pug dog!), but as I have really fallen "in love" with this very special apartment in Küsnacht, and would eventually plan to buy it, I would be keen now to find a mutually agreeable flatmate to share expenses for 12-months or so, starting from 01-May-09.

My plan would be to sublet the 2nd bedroom to cover a portion of the rent (CHF 1300), plus half of the actual billed "Nebenkosten" (heat, electric, water, trash, cable/internet, etc., which I would estimate as ~CHF 200/month) = CHF 1500 total per month, +/- optional parking space (CHF 180). I would also request a deposit and notice period of 3-months (i.e., standard in Switzerland). As for furniture, if needed, I have a comfy fold-out sofabed (140x200) and large wardrobe, plus I would set-up my wireless internet connection in the apartment as well.

I do not smoke, I would say I'm quite a stable and mature individual (i.e., not a drama queen!), who prefers a quiet/harmonious home environment. I have lots of friends/acquaintances in Zurich, open-minded and easy-going, who are by no means party animals, but do enjoy a glass of wine together on the weekends.
