I am looking for a flatmate to share my 4-room apartment by the lake at Kilchberg/ZH. Move-in upon discussion, expected July 1 2009 but could also happen within the next two weeks.

The apartment is 10mins by direct buses to Bürkliplatz at the heart of Zurich. The apartment has a big balcony facing the yard with a view into the Zurich lake. It also has a fireplace in the living room.

The spaces, except your bedroom (21m2) and mine, incl. the living room, dining room, the kitchen, balconies and the bathrooms(one big bathroom+ 1 guest toilet) are to be shared. The kitchen is totally furnished and equipped. The laundry kitchen is at the basement, shared by all the 9 households in the building. You can wash as long as the machines free.

I would say the apartment is min. furnished. You have to furnish your own bedroom. Other than that, you are welcome to share my furniture and bring your own furniture to the shared room.

The total rent is Fr. 1370.- per month, incl. maintenance and down-payment of hot water and heating.

I am seeking for a flatmate who is simple, open, easy-going, honest and responsible, long-term and ladies are preferred.

I am female, 27, have been living and working in ZH since 2005, relative clean & tidy but certainly nowhere close to immaculate.

There are additional minor expenses, such as electricity, cleaning… Reconsolidation for heating, hot water and electricity bills is done at the end of the year. But in average you can budget ~Fr. 1450 - 1500 for all.

Btw, I am female, turning 27 this August and working in a small M&A boutique in Zurich. In principle, I don't mind if to flatshare with a male or female as long as he/she is a open, likeable and correct person. having said that, a female has an advantage over a male if both have the same quality.

thanks for the interest. the room will be available. currently i am having a flatmate to share the apt temporarily. My flatmate is looking for a big apt for his whole family. hence our current lease is agreed to lapse by the end of nov. and i'll try to keep the room for my flatmate till he has found something suitable.

it is likely that my flatmate would get an apartment he really likes some time starting Oct.

my flatmate and I have very good understanding. earlier move-in appointment should be possible if the new person exhibits a good potential as a long-term, reliable and likeable tenant.

firstly, am not sure how the timing looks on your side. moreover, would like to get to know you in person. suggest that we speak on the phone first and may arrange an inspection appointment thereafter.
