I'm an architect student, I'm just arrived in Zurich for my traineeship and I'm searching for an ideal room/studio for me and my girlfriend, who's too an architect student. We have spent much time for searching an apartment or something, but without any success...

I post here my message, because I hope there will be someone who can help us.

My wife and I rent a nice 3.5 room apartment in Enge, quite close to the lake and Enge station.

We would like to rent out a room in the flat, preferably to someone who stays elsewhere at the weekends - but not necessarily. We also have a slight preference for a female tenant. We have previously rented out the room, and it was a very good arrangement.

The apartment is newly renovated, and comprises:
- large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, medium sized bedroom, and large bedroom
- large South-facing terrace which catches sun
- apartment is at back of building away from traffic noise
- minutes from Zurichsee, Enge station
- really nice!!

I would be looking to rent out a furnished room for SFR1300/mo, with one month's rent deposit. Available to move in immediately. For a 5-day rental, we would consider slightly less rent - say SFR1100/mo.

I am a clean, quiet, non smoking, professional 29 year old male looking for a biggish room in a WG in Zurich. I am looking for something long term, preferably with 2+ other people and ideally somewhere within about 10 minutes walk to either the river, lake or forest and with a regular cleaner. I do enjoy the social aspect of WG but am also very busy. The room needs to be big enough to fit a bed and a desk/chair as I need a workspace for the evenings. I like photography, rock climbing and music.

I am coming to Zurich in mid-June to start a new job. Previously, I was in London for 6 years.
My company is paying me a month of temporary accommodation so I am looking from mid July or 1st August.

I am French/English and speak a bit of German and Spanish.

I will be working near Talstrasse in Kreis 1 and I am looking ideally for anyplace within a 20-25 min walk from work (I have always dreamt of walking to work and stop commuting).

What I am looking for:
- Spacious double room, not necessarily heavily furnished, with modern (and at least relatively decent quality) decoration
- Quiet flat, at least the bedroom : I need my sleep!
- Ensuite room but if not, max of 2 people per bathroom
- Proper kitchen, because I like cooking and with all the appliances (especially a dishwasher - won't do flatshare without it, too many arguments otherwise)
- Good storage (amazing what you accumulate over the years, my thing is clothing)
- Wifi Internet and a landline if possible
- Location : ideally within a 10min walk from the mods (supermarkets, etc) or if it is further, a parking space available nearby
- Clean flatmates and/or a regular cleaner.

What you get :
