Hi all,

We are finally taking the plunge and returning to Spain. Therefore we have to try to find renters for our nice 2 bedroom apartment in Basel. Near Burgfeldengrenze (end of Line 3), 20 minutes walk from Novartis Campus.

It is a nice enough apartment, quietish building but not a morgue. So whilst common sense is necessary there are none of the truely daft silence after 10pm rules. There is a decent size balcony. 4th (top) floor, no lift. 1510CHF p.c.m.

We have paid rent until the end of August but will be moving out on the 17th August and the next renters will have to pay rent fro 1st September so there is an opportunity of two weeks free rent.

Also whilst the apartment is unfirnished we would really like to not have to take all our furniture to Spain and/or sell them off piece by piece so if wanted we would happily negotiate a price for some of the main furnishing and appliances.

Just to add, my wife says I missed the most important bit of information, that there are great views from the living room looking out over France to the Vosges.

Both from the living-room and the main bedroom the views are really something, and the apartment is really bright. I've just uploaded a couple of pics.

The other main good thing is the great distribution of the space, which means that all the rooms are quite big.

It's also handy to have a Coop supermarket practically downstairs and great that parking it's not difficult at all most days.
