Close (< 2 mins) to tram stops sternen oerlikon, hallenstadion
2 mins to train station Oerlikon

The renting agency will be advertising it shortly online with dates & times of open house in early September, but if anyone wants to stop by to view and pick up an application form, please PM me.

Also I'm not yet sure of my final moving date, so there is the possibility that the apartment would be available earlier than October 31.

Do you really need an agency to advertise? Surely there are hundreds of people looking for a nice place, without the hassle of going 'public'? Present three potential applicants to your landlord and your job is done

when I sent in my 3 month notice letter (which I had to do sharpish at the time cos I was running out of 3 months), they (the company I rented from - Basler) sent me back a form with 3 options:

1. Give them my work & mobile numbers so people could call me & make an appointment to view
2. Nominate a 3rd party to leave a key with so they could show the apartment when I wasnt around
3. Nominate 3 dates to show the place

I went with option 3 because I didnt want people calling all the time, and I'm not friendly enough with any of my neighbours to ask them for a favour like that. I also didnt have time to wait for 3 suitable applicants to express an interest and submit an application form before I gave my notice.

Having said that, yes I agree, there are a lot of people looking for apartments and in the name of helping out other expats I'm happy to show them the apartment outside of the official 'public' viewings - which is why anyone can pm me and we can try to arrange something outside of those times.
