URGENT 2 bed furnished aparment in Basel Gundeli sought

I am looking for a 2 bedroom furnished apartment to rent asap, preferably in the Gundeli area but anywhere within Basel would be considered.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have looked at these sites but its abit time-consuming, and im not lazy

I was just hoping that someone may have a place to let or sub-let for say 3 months. It would just give me abit more time to look. I have arranged to view a property later today but its always abit of a long process esp if the apartment is not as nice as expected.

Another idea that some of our consultants used is not to restrict yourself to furnished.

Get unfurnished and buy some cheap Ikea stuff (often that is all you get in a furnished apartment anyway). Have a "putting stuff together" party (cheap labour, costs just a few beers) then when you leave just sell/give away what you don't need any more.

The money you save in rent should more than cover the cost of the furniture and beer.

Thanks for your advice. The apartment is not for me its for my son who was expecting a penthouse apartment in a trendy part of town for the price he has realised he has to pay!

. He cant be bothered with trips to ikea and building furniture but I think he is slowly realising he cant be too choosy. We have got abit of furniture he can take with him but the main expense will be a TV i think. He is looking for 2 bed as a friend is moving over to start working with him as well. I just thought it would be best all round if they could just move into somewhere with everything!

I had enough trouble looking for our own apartment and really just want to sort this out asap. Guess I was just hoping for a miracle.

Still looking for an apartment asap in Basel. A one bedroom would be ok for a month or two. Anyone want to sub-let their apartment for that period?
