Fantastic ZH Flatshare Offered

I will be leaving my current flatshare in Kilchberg ZH on 16 Jan 2010, and am looking for someone to take over my room.

Here's the link to the original advert:

http://www.englishforum.ch/adverts-h...adtgrenze.html

A couple of updates to the original advert:
  • Rent is CHF1400 per month, based on a sublet agreement directly with current tenant, with 3 month deposit.
  • Available from 17th Jan - rent adjusted for the month naturally.
  • Bedroom unfurnished - thought a bed could be made available.
The apartment is fantastic; great location, spacious and light, and the open fireplace makes it really cosy! As for the current tenant, she is relaxed, friendly, and very easy to live with, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

If you're interested please PM me, telling me a bit about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing etc.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Dan

Re: Fantastic ZH Flatshare Offered

Right folks, once last bump for this advert. It's a great place, the photos don't really do it justice. I am surprised there hasn't been that much interest

Available for viewings any night this week or at the weekend, so don't be shy!!

PM for more details.

ZH Flatshare

I should also mention that short term lets would also be considered...from a couple of months to whenever.

The place is ideal for newbies in town looking for a cheap temporary solution or the business traveller wanting to avoid the expensive local hotels!! A good price to live in a beautiful location whilst still being 10 mins from the central Zurich, it really must be seen to be appreciated.

PM if you're interested or want to know more.

I'd guess the price may be too high? Or the marketing of the place is not that good?

Yeah, 1'400 for a flatshare is a bit pricey.

Re: Fantastic ZH Flatshare Offered

As much as I am keen for the banter to commence I'd appreciate any useful comments only...PMs please for anything else.

So, for those people thinking the rent is a bit steep...CHF1400 gets you:

Large room in lovely and fully equipped apartment (only bedroom unfurnished)
All bills included
Located in one of the best areas of Zurich
Good transport - trains and buses frequently
Free parking
Lake view from good sized balcony
Lakeside park over the road for BBQs and swimming in summer
Short bike ride to the start of MTB trails
As much storage space as you need
Nice and friendly neighbours
Close to shops and some very good restaurants
Nice current tenant, speaking English and German.

Oh yeah, and no application forms needed, nor references from Employers, bribes to "buy" old furniture, agency fees.

Anything else I missed?

Thank you...83% local rate vs Zurich Stadt up to 120%

Also, washer and dryer not oversubscribed, air raid bunker, under floor heating...that must be it now!

I don't think he's looking to pimp her; she ain't gonna be too pleased if you move in and tell her why is she?

My guess is it'll cost you 1400 a month to find out

It looks like there is a logical fallacy in your post. Without knowledge of the terms, on what ground you would guess it costs only 1 month rent to find out about the described without further actual expense and opportunity cost to disentangle from the contract?

anyway, fr. 1400 for a normal salary earner in Zurich is not a small amount - for just a curious peep on some one you happened to catch in a online forum.

Well, a tip for a cheap solution withou almost no opportunity cost, try Langstrasse at the back of Zurich HB. No short of options!

If nothing offensive, and/or just to be helpful to the original thread poster, then same here. ^^
