Mature (old) guy looking for apt. in Zurich

Hi all,

I am a 47 year old, non-smoking, man that is going to work in Zurich for Credit Suisse for a least 6 months starting on 08.02.

I am looking for a good FURNISHED, very clean, 2 room apartment ideally near an airport tram stop (#4?) as I will be working in the TMC building. It must have a shower, ideally it would also have a washing machine in the apartment and small balcony/terrace. DSL would also be a great.

Rent in the range of 1000 to 1800 CHF fully inclusive. If anybody has such an apartment please send me a private message with details.

If I find somewhere I will post to this thread stating that I am no longer looking. :-)

Thanks in advance.

Nigel

Sorry Slammer,
I could not find a 'grumpy old man' thread (logical cosy chair).
Where are my glasses?! I had them here a minute ago. :-)

Hi Nigel,

www.homegate.ch is in English but most of the search results are in German.
This one was in English.
This one looks nice and you can still walk to work (or catch the tram) but you are still close to restaurants, stores, quick train to Zürich, etc.. Plus they will only let you rent for 6 months if needed and they have a laundry room and free WLAN.

That would be a great thread - 'grumpy old men and women'. Especially for us Brits.
