Hi,

We are moving overseas and need to leave outside of official moving dates so are looking for someone to take our flat from 1st July. Not yet listed on Homegate but due to go on some time next week! We also have a secure parking space but it is separate to the apartment rental.

It is a super 4.5rm (113m2 + 32m2 south facing terrace) modern family apartment in the center of Neu Oerlikon. Light and airy with fully fitted kitchen (miele appliances) and own washer & dryer in 2nd bathroom. Master bedroom has en suite with bath and opens onto large sunny balcony.

Rental includes a secure celler and use of communal bike room & drying room (in addition to own washer/dryer). Complex also has childrens play area and secure underground parking (extra cost).

Our place is not listed yet, but other properties in our block are currently on homegate and show the complex and standard & style of apartment decoration

Local facilities include Center 11 shopping area, Aldi, Starbucks. 5 mins on foot to Oerlikon station (6mins to Zurich HB & 8 mins to Airport) and 3 mins to 10 & 11 tram stops. Very close to Im Birch school (kindy - secondary) and close by many good krippe.

We currently pay 2492chf per month plus 280chf nebenkost but I am not sure if the building agents will be seeking to increase the rent. The parking is a separate rental contract and currently costs 180chf per month.

What floor is this on? is it the top floor with it having a terrace? or is it actually a balcony?

Sorry it is on the 2nd floor which is the only low floor with large terrace.

Floors 6 & 7 have the really (50m2+) big terraces and 5.5k price tag!. All the apartments on floors 3-5 have the small half moon balconies of approx 12m2. Ours is 32m2 and gets the sun from about 12pm until it goes down.

We currently have a play house, sand pit, bbq with table and chairs for 6 on there and still space for the kids to practice skating and cycling!.

It was one of the main reasons for choosing the place as whilst not exactly the garden we had hoped for, it is large enough that the kids can play happily and securely whilst I do other things
