Looking for accommodation? DO NOT POST (until you read the information below)
We have provided a
list of resources to help you search for accommodation. Please consult this list first, then browse the other advertisements in the Market Place section for anybody offering accommodation. Also consider using the search function to try to locate relevant threads.
Unless there is something extra-special or unique about your situation, please don't post the all-too-common "Need an apartment in Zurich" or "Looking for accommodation in Geneva - urgent" thread. We get a lot of these and everyone else is looking for an apartment too. You probably won't get any response and these ads clutter up the area and will most likely be deleted by a moderator.
How to post
- If you are offering or selling an apartment, please prefix your thread title with 'Offering' or 'Selling'
- If you are looking for something, please prefix your thread title with 'Wanted'
- Include your location applicable to your advertisement.

The contents of your post should be clear and explanatory. Include as much vital information about the apartment and area as possible. This will save interested parties asking redundant questions.

Help keep the area clean
If you have posted an advertisement and the situation changes (for example, you find a tenant for your apartment) as a courtesy to others, please post an update onto your original thread to let everyone know.
Bumping
Bumping without adding any helpful information is as in all Market Place areas not allowed. Not respecting bumping ban will result in thread deletion.
Phone Numbers and Email Addresses
Forum rules prohibit the posting both email addresses and telephone numbers. Please use the PM feature instead. Threads with phone numbers or email addresses will be edited by the mods.
In order to start a new thread in Marketplace areas of the forum you need to first meet the following criteria:
- Have 10 posts or more
- Been a member for 7 days or longer
If you have just made your 10 posts and find you can't post in the marketplace, log out of EF, clear your browser's cache and then log back in again.
Keep in mind that if you've just posted fluff content to make your 10 posts, you may find your posts deleted and a temporary or permanent forum vacation waiting for you.
