Full moon..

Opinions in danger?

A question for those who would report the EF to "the authorities"

http://www.englishforum.ch/complaint...eryone-ef.html

EF safety valve (aka - why do you hate the British)

Get a grip people, it's only a full moon this weekend (biggest in 20 years). We can survive this..!

Re: Full moon..

Actually, I think it's not only EFers gone ga-ga. I feel a lot of tension at work - and always think I can "escape" to the the peace on EF for a while.
Well, failed that...

Guess getting hammered is the only thing to do.

Even though it may look close enough to touch, Saturday's full moon will still be at a healthy distance -- some 211,600 miles (356,577 km) away.
Ah, thanks for the warning. I was going to grab a piece of it as a souvenir.

Re: Full moon..

There is definitely something said about the full moon. As a nurse, I worked with the elderly for a few years and we dreaded full moon time, some couldn't sleep at all, some became violent, some just mean. There was once a lady, 90 yrs old at the time, foul mouthed little thing, who picked up a pipping hot cup of coffe and chased (with a walker!) an 80something yr old man down the hallway. The poor guy tried to get away hauling an oxygen tank behind. That seen stuck in my head forever and makes me laugh every time!
It'll pass people, until then take an extra happy pill today I know I will.

Re: Full moon..

If the meaning of "full moon" extends to the brazen and aggravating act of exposing one's buttocks to the public then it is no wonder that an increased size in the former will lead to greater disruptions in the latter.

I advise the moderation team to require the more contumacious members to wear a thick pair of tights or trousers (preferably made of an itchy fabric) in order to reduce the force and extent of their provocations.

It's not just a regular full moon. It's a Super Moon, the closest it will pass to earth.

While you all struggle to get a grip.... I think I'll go and lose control.
