I only met Mark once at Paddys but appreciated his company and contribution.

Sincere sympathies to all affected by his loss.

The best tribute might be to maintain and develop what he started in his memory.

If there's a way I can help please let me know.

May he rest in peace.

Re: Mourning the loss of a friend, a leader, an innovator, a genuinely nice guy

For someone that I had only known for about a year, Mark quickly became one of my closest friends here in Switzerland. We didn't meet that many times, but we were frequently chatting on Skype.

Being able to help Mark out with the forum gave me a bit of direction when I really needed it. And the forum has helped me feel much more at home here. The forum has really been a lifeline for me, and I'm sure many others feel the same way.

Mark, you were truly a great guy. Thanks for the friendship, the advice and the trust you put in me. I miss you a lot.

I have never met Mark personally but have been immensely helped by his contributions to this forum . It is always sad when someone so young is taken so early but I hope he is at peace where he is .

Rest in peace .

I, too, never met Mark - but through this fantastic forum community, his creation, he made my adjustment to life here in Switzerland so much easier. Through his hard work, generously and selflessly giving of his time and energy, he has enriched the lives of so many.

My heart goes out to his family and friends at this very sad time.

Godspeed, Mark - and thank you.

Rest in Peace Mark.

This forum makes a real and incredibly positive difference to my life, in so many different ways. Thats not just a platitude. In this case it is very true. I can think of many wonderful friends that I now have, that I wouldnt have if not for this forum, and if not for Mark.

Kevin.

It's hard to find the right words at a tragic time such as this. Mark died doing something he was passionate about and has left a truly valuable legacy in the form of this gem of a forum.

May you sleep peacefully.

Mourning the loss of a friend, a leader, an innovator, a genuinely nice guy

My heart-felt condolences to Mark's fiancee, family and friends. What a sad day today is.

And thanks to the folk who put up pictures of Mark. I had always thought of him as looking like that snowy-haired guy in The Matrix.

I am sat in a coffee shop in London having just found out about Mark.

I am so upset, this is a tragedy, a total tragedy.

What a first class gent, what an invovater. To think how many people he has touched with his efforts and how many people he has helped.

A tragic, tragic accident. Things like this really put everything back in perspective.

He was a true gent. I am sure everyone will want you to pass on their regards to his fiancee and family.
You've passed on the regards yourself, mate. Thanks

I have never met Mark or have never seen his picture before this tragic news. In my eyes he resembles like his avatar, the real architect.
Condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in Peace Mark
