Recently, there have been isolated cases of members being threatened via private message (PM), sent through English Forum's PM system.
English Forum operates a strict zero tolerance policy on threats and bullying. While the content of PMs should generaly be kept confidential, an exception is made when members' safety may be compromised. Members are encouraged to report any incidence of bullying or threatening language directly to the moderation team (by clicking
at the top right corner of the post or PM) or to the management of the Forum (by clicking on "Contact Us" in the blue menu bar at the bottom of every page). Any member found to have bullied or threatened another member will be banned.
English Forum reserves the right to pass any relevant materials, including but not limited to offenders' email addresses, ISP details, posts and PMs, to the police or other appropriate authorities, who may initiate criminal proceedings against offenders.
