Month 11 - Toilet Training A Complete Failure

So, nearly one year in and we have given up. Rags is now 6.1KG and Lisunia 4KG. In short the litter Qwitter is too small for such large kitties. It's a real shame, because we had 100% for about 3/4 weeks, then one of them crapped on the edge of the seat and the other then crapped on the floor. From then, they found it much easier and more convenient to crap on the floor.
So, we backtracked to the beginning, but not to too much avail. So now they have a very large normal litter tray.
The odd thing is that they are right exhibitionists. They always wait until someone is around, make a right fuss and then pee when one of us is there, make a noise till that's cleaned, and then take a crap.
Another delightful emergent behaviour is with the bathroom tap. Rags has taken up fighting with any drips that appear to the extent that now we are urged upon every trip upstairs to turn on the tap to a light drizzle, in order that he has some fun. Lisunia has been watching and is also taking part in the frivolities. They have however, stopped jumping straight into the bathtub since the time they did this with a few inches of water in the bath
.
After our holiday, they were both p*ssed off for the first few hours, then spent the remainder of the weekend pretty much glued to our laps. The clawing and meowing at 3AM outside our bedroom door since then MUST stop. I will not give in on this one.
