New Cat Owners' Diary

So today is the first day that the Ovenowskis spend a full day at home. Who are they, you might wonder. They are our two new ragdoll kittens. You can pictures of them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/smbuzby

Yesterday evening, they arrived just after 10.30pm, after a long journey from Gdansk, (Danzig to you Germans out there). Why Gdansk? Well, we tried to buy them in Switzerland, and it was (a) more pricey, and (b) we could only get them if the breeders could not find better (read Swiss) homes.

So far today they have been a bit cautious and generally hiding, but they are allowing me to give them cuddles. Later they will meet the Chinchillas. Expect a blog on Ragdolls vs Chinchillas, my money is on the chins

	Did you get them from ofgoldencoast, the lady who breeds ragdolls and bengals (not together of course) in Erlenbach?

	Not from GoldenCoast No, we got them from Poland. They were very discouraging to us - basically they told us we could not reserve any unless they had any unsold. It turned out cheaper for us to get them from Gdansk, with the whole passport caboodle, flights etc and all.
