Hello my fellow foreigners
This is a positive outlook on what Switzerland has to offer. Like they say, "Always look on the bright side of life...".

This Blog talks about getting to know Switzerland, the culture, the night life, saving money in this expensive country, get togethers, language, etc.

Enjoy!

Outfitted by Banana Republic, I wore an 88% wool black & white combo boat-neck dress with cap sleeves and an empire waist. I added a stretch black belt trimmed in leather, a pair of CK tights and finished off my look with a scrumptious pair of Mary Janes with red...

Perhaps dress in thick jeans, a marshmallow jacket and a double scarf when I actually do go out? Of course not! While all of those things sound nice, I’ve found a better ways to make myself happy when all...

The Bright Side of Switzerland

Question: What would make a native Sunny Southern Californian girl move to cold dreary switzerland?

Answer: Of course… a significant other.

I've spoken to several EF members in the same situation and even invited a few to my home. Every time I’d meet a new person, I’d get the same old story, "I'm here because of my bf/ my husband/my job and I hate it. It’s cold, the people are cold and I CAN'T SPEAKSCHWYZERDUTSCH(Swiss German)!" And even though I had my fiancé’s...
