Need a good english speaking accountant in SH, any suggestions ?

search for "Treuhand" in the directories and write emails to all of them in English. The one who answers in the most proper language is your guy. Also it's a test that he or she uses e-mail regularly, and you can keep using it as a means of communications.

She is in Aargau, but has been preparing my Zug tax returns. Her prices are very competitive.

I have been using Klauser and partner (http://www.kpag.ch/en/Home/) in Schaffhausen for 3 years to do my personal Swiss taxes and more recently for some advice on the accounting issues of setting up my Einzelfirma. I have been very satisfied with their service and would recommend them. If you look at the "Team" section of their web site you will see they all speak English. I met with Mr. Klauser initially but my day-to-day contact has been with Patrick Kull.

From my very expensive experience in my first year here, use an accountant thats been recommended by someone you know WELL. my business turned over about 7000 in the first year and my accountancy fees came to about 20,000ch. A company I would definitely not recommend based in Martigny.
