I have a small consulting business, without a huge overhead, that is producing for me around 130.000 eur of profits that become around 80.000 in my pockets after taxes, insurance, etc.

I live in Casablanca, Morocco, so the cost of living is not crazy but it's a bit aggravated by travelling expenses to europe (around 10.000 eur a year that I could save staying in Switzerland).

So my question is.... at what point of turnover should I seriously consider moving my business and my family to Switzerland in terms of business?

It seems like the right thing to do if I consider growing the business, I am just wondering what makes sense in terms of timing.

Ideally we would move ourself and the family in the Geneva area.

Any way you would approach this?

I am sure I will have to take a hit in my standard of living at some point and move to switzerland, I am just wondering when :-)

Could be quite easy really: Net profit-expected expenses in Switzerland would give you a ball-park figure. You do not have to set up a company in Switzerland and continue to bill via your entity in Morocco. In any case you would have to look at the tax rates and deductibles that would apply in each case. If you go by the Swiss (corporate + income) taxes are lower cliché, you would have to weigh the added expenses (rent, living etc.) in Switzerland.
