Re: The start of a Business.......Just Samosas

Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck!

I'm also about to start with my own business, which will be a home based travel agency especialized in South America (mostly Argentina). I will be working with a travel agency based in Argentina and will be some sort of "commercial representative" in Switzerland. I'm quite nervous but at the same time very anxious to start this adventure

Again the best to you and I would sure like to try your samosas one of these days

Re: The start of a Business.......Just Samosas

Hello Everyone

I am happy that you could manage to start your catering business.

I have been thinking of the same for 2 years ago and now I really want to go for it.

Basically everyone keeps telling me that my cakes are great so I wanted to begin doing this from home and I decided to stop my professional activity for a year to run it.

Does anyone have any experience with this?(local regulations, authorizations, who to ask....).
Thank you in advance!

Hi all,
I am so happy to announce that finally, and yes finally, I have decided to start Just Samosas!!!
Last week I received the go ahead from the Food Control authorities, and the gemeinde has replied positively.
Yesterday, I ordered 1000 flyers, for a start...........I must admit, it took a bit of courage to place that order.
So today I will advertise in the Commercial section. This is my first attempt of running a business, and I have been thinking about it for a long, long time. It take quite a bit of courage, though.

The website is missing one page, but that will be corrected hopefully by monday.....any input about the website, would be appreciated as well.

Well, I sincerely beseech those with far more experience to be so kind and share any tips, and advice, and pearls of wisdom!

Thanks!

Good luck and all the best...
I can suggest that you might target some ethnic groups where these samosas
are very famous, if you segment the customers more in details it will bust your business, try to target them and send them email and offers so that the word is spread quickly here in Switzerland the best marketing is the word of mouth..
good luck again ...

Re: The start of a Business.......Just Samosas

Having been away for so long, I missed the launch of this but finally managed to pick up my first order of samosas last friday - having already sampled them, I can only say . . . . it`s going to be the first of many.

Re: The start of a Business.......Just Samosas

THANKS Basher!! I really appreciate it.
it was great meeting you as well.

AN IMPORTANT NOTICE : JUST SAMOSAS HAVE STOPPED USING CURRY LEAVES IN THE SAMOSAS. DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE LEVELS OF PESTICIDES FOUND ON THE LEAVES, TESTED BY THE BASEL KANTONSLABOR.
