Is anyone here familiar with the rules regulations on market stalls in Switzerland

I am considering opening up a little stall here in Geneva and am interested in any rules, taxes, do I have to register as a small business and all that stuff.

Does anyone have any suggestions on when I can buy market stall/display equipment? It seems to be easy in England however maybe there is some compeditive prices here in CH

Go to your local Commune and ask what the rules are in your area. I can tell you that the street markets in Zurich have a waiting list of many years, and when someone does leave they rarely hand their space back to the city but sell it on.

You will of course need to be registered as self employed as a minimum and if selling food will need a food handling license

My first thought was the Stock market Stalled in Switzerland. Phew, glad we had that cleared up.
