To the OP, you aren't going to find much info around here. You may find info on the logistics of buying a company in Switzerland as a foreigner, but nothing specific like a 'hot tip' on a company that's up for sale. If you (or your friend) are serious, then the best thing to do is research different small companies that interest you and simply ask if they want to sell. There are many small companies located in Le Locle and the Vallee de Joux, as well as Geneva, Bienne, and elsewhere, and after the last few years of turmoil they may jump at the chance to hand off to a new owner (despite what the media says it's tough in the watch world these days).

price. But you have to give more details to what type of watches you are looking for, are you looking for someone to manufacture
a specific watch for you or are you looking to build up a already existing brand in your country...

I guess if your budget is not so high then you could target the lower end of the market - plastic watches with quartz movements.

Can I suggest you approach Swatch Group. They've been around since 1983, so have some history.
