I'd guess with Hispanic he means Spanish. Though Spain is in the Iberian Peninsula, Portuguese food has never been refered to as Hispanic. Or he might mean Mexican... Who knows...

Um. No. You could start by learning the definition of "hispanic" and then extrapolate from there.
