Recommendation of accountants

I have just come back from my accountant and thought i would share the experience.

having worked with accountants in Italy, the Uk and Ireland I found these guys very clear, helpful and reasonable in terms of costs. They all speak good english (apart from receptionist whose English is OK). Tax returns are not done on an on line form so you can ask questions and you will still need to pull everything together but there is some advice as well as producing the form. We have used a big practice here but they are twice as expensive and I seem to always get a 25 year old: nothing against that but they seem lacking in confidence and of course this may be the experience.

So, we switched to BDO in Munchensteinerstrasse, Basel. if any of you would like an intro please let me know via PM

I also have very good experience with BDO. For the same reasons as you.
