I've an idea in mind for a potential e-business in Switzerland.
To my knowledge, the idea is good but I'd like to launch a survey to collect an open and frank feedback from the "EF female side".
This survey is specifically designed for ladies and girls living in Switzerland with passion for shoes.

As this is a "closed survey", it means you'll need an invitation to participate.
If you are interested and you'd like to be part of the survey, please send me a PM with an email address where I could send the survey.

My plan is to launch the survey next Monday, 30th April.

I can guarantee to the people interested that:
- your contact email will not become part of any spam activity;
- your contact email will be cancelled immediately after the closure of the survey;
- your answers will be considered only as part of group of answers, without any specific relations with your contact details;

I agree with Odile, you may well be honest and genuine, but I never give my email address to strangers.
Your guarantees don't really mean anything, sorry.
Why can't you do an open survey on EF?

I hear your concern about disclosing the email to someone you don't know.
On the other side, I'd like to be sure that only "females" (excuse me for the broather term) will take part to this survey.

How can i cope with this?
Any suggesstion is more than welcome.

Also, by limiting yourself to the English Forum you would already limit the answers you are getting a lot, as these are just the folks who visit here and watch the forums and then who want to participate in this. You might want to figure out what your potential market is first...

As i cannot be sure who's particpating, i need to limit this possibly sending "personal" emails.

For the second piece, limiting this to EF could give me a flavour of the view of expat living in Switzerland, and it's part of my businessplan.

Better to make the survey online, make it available for males and females but that they mark the gender

then ignore the male answers

Let's see if any other suggestion comes along the day, otherwise i'll apply this methodology to the survey.

Just add the question: do you own more than 10 pair of shoes?

Delete all the ones who answered NO......voila.

Mmm you should set that limit quite a bit higher than that, I recently crossed the 30 pairs mark.... And that is not counting skiboots, climbing shoes and similar specialty shoes...

Do a free survey on survey monkey, post the link here and in the survey, ask that respondents provide their gender. Your results will be just as reliable as if you were to ask people for their emails. How do you know if a survey requestor is female? By the email? My dog has an email address.

Honestly, I am also quite a bit surprised about this shoe collection I've gathered over the years, but well, some simply do not work in some situations and then you need to get another pair, which does mean a completely different model and purpose, not just 'oh I want it in red, black and pink!'.

Well... that is not the case here, I just have a lot of them as some do not go well with nice pants, or short pants, some are warm, some are cold, some are for running, some are for walking, some are for going out etc...

You should maybe first of men who are considered to be what they tend to call Metrosexual, then again I do not fit that description at all....
